Mohawk Valley Horn
Description
Some of the things on this horn were on an original horn made during the American Revolution owned by a Palatine German man who lived along the Mohawk River. He fought on the American side and his wife and 2 daughters were taken by Tories and taken to Canada. On the opposite side it says,”Blessed is the nation who’s God is the Lord”. It is a right side carry horn and is 16″ along the outside curve and 8″ around the base. It has a walnut base plug with a handmade staple and nails.
